Al-Baqarah 2:153

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.

Ash-Sharh 94:5

For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

Ash-Sharh 94:6

Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

Al-Baqarah 2:153 — patience and prayer

The verse addresses believers and directs them to seek help through patience and prayer. It links perseverance to an act of worship rather than presenting patience as passive waiting. Read the verse and nearby passage at Qur’an 2:153.

Ash-Sharh 94:5–6 — ease alongside hardship

These two verses repeat the relationship between hardship and ease. Read them within the full surah, including the closing call to effort and turning toward the Lord. They should not be converted into a prediction that a specific problem will end at a particular time. Read 94:5 and 94:6.

A question for reflection

What could patience look like in the next action available to you? You might pause before responding, seek appropriate help or make time for prayer. These are suggestions for reflection, not a guarantee of an outcome or a substitute for addressing practical difficulties.
